THREE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION STUDENTS MAJORING IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION COLLABORATE WITH MINI LABS TO OFFER THANKSGIVING ACTIVITY.

ASHANTI WILLIAMS, CHANDLER MIRE AND TONYKEA ALFORD ARE COMPLETING THEIR FIELD EXPERIENCE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MS. ANREA M. WILLIAMS, SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY LABORATORY SCHOOL MINI LABS. IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE THE STUDENTS WITH REAL-LIFE AND REVELEVANT EXPERIENCES IN THE TEACHING PROFESSION, THEY HAVE PLANNED AN ACTIVITY INCORPORATING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS IN MATH, SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, AND BUSINESS WITH A THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY THEME. THE ACTIVITY WILL INVOLVE 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD GRADE STUDENTS ATTENDING SU LAB SCHOOL. IT WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2014 FROM 9:30AM-11AM AT THE MINI LABS ON THE SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.
